OFF TO THE POET’S
I just love playing tennis
in Hove Park
In fact I could stay there
until after Dark

They are all such
a grand bunch
I think I could take them
out to lunch

I wonder if we will
get to the pub
I hope the poet’s
has enough grubb

– Mick Cox April 2012

IT TAKES ALL TYPES
HPTC Members come
in all shapes and sizes
Some look attractive
and some wear disguises
Most have their own teeth
and some wear a wig
And one has a racket
that is incredibly big.

COME AND PLAY!
We are looking for some people
to join us all and play
A lovely game of tennis
on a sunny day.

You don’t need to be Nadal
a Henman or a Murray.
You just need to have
a tennis racket and some money!

PICK ME! PICK ME!
Tonight’s the night they
choose the teams
I wonder who they will pick?
If I don’t get selected
I am going to ring up Mick!
